Grains of Sound is a new project from brothers Chris and Jason Sevanick, the duo behind the pummeling club tracks and powerful anthems of the dark electronic act, Mindless Faith.

Grains of Sound released their debut CDs "Rays of Life" Vol. 1 Down (downtempo) and Vol. 2 Under (ambient) on their own label, AlterCulture Records, in 2007. The album received some great reviews: "mysterious and beautiful without even trying" 4 out of 5 -  ambientmusicguide.com and "Verdict? Buy this now" - buzzoutroom.com, and ambient duo Carbon Based Lifeforms commented, "Sweeeet tracks!"

The album also got a lot of airplay on most FM and internet radio stations that play ambient and downtempo music as well as

many that don't play those styles!

Grains of Sound was a featured artist on BOHEMIO RADIO!, Psychedelik.com, and Buzzoutroom.com and on-air interview on HAWKE CHILL OUT SESSIONS (on HFM-UK) They were also featured on two compilations Healing Ananda (Gaian Mind - USA) and Materia Musica Compilation (Ajana Records - Netherlands).

Grains of Sound have performed at Gaian Mind and ORB festival two years in a row, as well as several performances in NYC, and one in Amsterdam. The shows in 2008 also featured new material from their forthcoming 2nd double album "Sine Language" due out later this year.
